I suggest you ...

Make dates and time for history editable

I cannot always edit the board right away, sometimes it will take days before I can move card. I often add to the backlog in batches. This messes up the CFDs and other statistics. It would be great if I could set/edit the date and time myself.

We definitely understand the need and usefulness of this capability. We have every intention of providing a solution for this issue but need to figure out a feasible solution and how it is going to fit into our future roadmap. Related to this, there are also needs to not only modify the date but to undo historical events and we are trying to determine how we might provide a solution to meet all these needs.

Just my opinion, but I think it's not really a kanban board anymore if you are updating it in batches and not in sync with when the work is actually getting done. I mean, the team members are the ones moving the cards, right? If it's not real-time and it isn't the team members doing it, it's kind of useless as a visual signboard for communicating the flow of the system.

It's possible that I simply don't understand the feature request, but I'd think making system history editable would make your metrics less reliable, not more reliable.

This feature is absolutely necessary. From an enterprise tooling standpoint, not having this ability is a deal breaker.

Absolutely a burning requirement when trying to scale LeanKit across an organization of several hundred people and you need "reliable" metrics!

Yes, we need this, it's table stakes for serious usage...

same thing is happening for the teams we are working with

Would this solve my issue as well? I'm converting several teams to leankitkanban that already have kanban data in excel. I'd like to not start-over with analytics and I'd like to not keep a duplicate set of books in excel while I build up history in leankitkanban. Would minimally setting the start date or otherwise import or create history for imported or newly created items support my time-zero analytics needs?
